Louisville man arrested on charges involving illegal sex acts with Bowling Green teen
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Police arrested a man July 10 on multiple charges involving illegal sex acts with a juvenile from Bowling Green.
According to an arrest citation by the BGPD, Bowling Green police were notified by Homeland Security that 30-year-old Jamison Gann of Louisville had been engaging in sexual communications with an individual he believed to be a 14-year-old female on an online “dating” smartphone app.
On July 10, Gann told the juvenile that he was traveling from Louisville to her address in Bowling Green with the intent to have sex, stated authorities.
Gann was taken into custody upon arrival. The citation further stated Gann was interviewed at the Bowling Green Police Department by investigators, where he “made some admissions regarding this incident.”
Gann was charged with unlawful transaction with a minor, first degree, illegal sex act, under 16 years of age (attempt), promoting a minor under 16 in sex performance, use of a minor under 16 in a sex performance (solicitation), procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means, rape, third-degree, and tampering with physical evidence.
Gann was lodged in Warren County Detention Center.
Authorities stated the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
