Louisville man arrested in Glasgow on drug charges

GLASGOW, Ky.,- The Glasgow Police Department has arrested a Louisville man on several charges following a traffic stop. The Glasgow Police Department says they conducted a traffic stop on Happy Valley Road after a vehicle failed to use a turn signal.

Officers then made contact with the driver, identified as 60-year-old Anthony W. Neal from Louisville.

Officers deployed K-9 unit Niko to walk around the vehicle where he made a positive alert. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun.

Neal was arrested and is facing several charges, including failure to or improper signal, improper turning, possession of marijuana, trafficking in control substance 1st-degree, 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and prescription control substance not in the proper container.

The arrest was made by Officer Micah Janes.
