Lottery ticket worth $100,000 sold in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Two winning Powerball tickets were sold in Kentucky, including in Franklin.

The Kentucky Lottery says the winning tickets were from the drawing held on Monday, Dec. 8.

These included a $50,000 winning ticket purchased at Country Convenient at 690 E. Main St. in Lebanon, along with a $100,000 winning ticket purchased at Sudden Service at 3303 Scottsville Road in Franklin.

Monday night’s winning numbers were eight, 32, 52, 56, 64 and a Powerball of 23.

The Kentucky Lottery advises winners to sign the back of their tickets and keep them in a secure location.

The winners of these tickets must claim their prizes at lottery headquarters at 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville. Winners have 180 days to claim.

Wednesday night’s Powerball® jackpot is currently estimated at $930 million, making it the 7th largest jackpot to date. The drawing will take place at 11 p.m. EST.
