Lost River Elementary vandalized, investigation underway

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An investigation is underway after a Warren County School was vandalized.

According to a letter sent to parents and guardians by Principal Beth Croslin, an act of vandalism occurred at Lost River Elementary School on Monday evening.

Croslin says the school activated safety protocols, and the school and law enforcement contained the scene.

The release states that no students were present at the time of the incident, and there is no threat to staff and student safety.

Croslin says the damage is external and being repaired. She says normal school operations will continue.

Warren County Public Schools Communications Coordinator Lauren Thurmond says the Warren County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an ongoing investigation into the act of vandalism.
