Logan County Tobacco and Heritage Festival back for 2021
RUSSELLVILLE Ky.-Residents and visitors of Logan County are getting ready to get back to a long-time tradition in the community.
The Logan County Tobacco and Heritage Festival is back for 2021. The festivities will go on for three weeks, starting September 23 to October 9.
To start things off, the queen’s pageant will tookin the Russellville High School auditorium.
Last year, this festival did not happen, which is why county tourism representatives are ready to make memories this year.
“We’re so excited to have everyone back here in town. This is my first year doing the tobacco and heritage festival in this position, and I’m so looking forward to all the great new exciting things we have this year,” said Logan County Chamber of Commerce executive director Polly Steenbergen.
“This is the time of year that people come for their class reunions and just to get together with family. It’s like an annual homecoming from everyone, we’re excited,” added Logan County tourist and convention commission executive director DeeDee Brown.
