Logan County Public Library creates free escape room

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – The Logan County Public Library in Russellville, Ky., has added their own twist to the Halloween season.

The library has turned what is normally a meeting space into their very own escape room.

Planning for this project took nearly two months.

Members of the library’s Teen Advisory Board then spent a week constructing the room.

The escape room’s theme features a mad scientist who is attempting to turn every human into a zombie.

Participants have 60 minutes to escape the room and save the world from the scientist’s evil plans.

This is the first time the library has ever created their own escape room.

It is free to do, but there is a limit of six people at a time that can participate.

The escape room is open from 5-8 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 18.

If you’re interested in signing up for one of the one-hour time slots, visit the Logan Co. Public Library website.
