UPDATE: Man arrested after dogs allegedly thrown over fence in Logan County

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – The Logan County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an individual after receiving a video showing a man allegedly throwing dogs over a fence in Logan County.
Logan County Animal Care and Control shared the video to social media, stating Friday that a $500 reward was being offered for information that leads to the location of the individual shown above.
Rescuers say three dogs were thrown over the fence Wednesday night at around 6:30 p.m.
Logan County sheriff Stephen Stratton confirmed Friday that an individual, identified as Peter Everhart, was arrested. Everhart has been charged with three felonies and three misdemeanors, according to Stratton.
Stratton has confirmed the three puppies involved did not survive the incident.
