Logan County high school teacher arrested on sodomy, sexual abuse charges

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A Logan County teacher is now behind bars after an investigation into alleged sexual abuse involving a student.

On Thursday, the Kentucky State Police Post 3 received information about allegations of a teacher at Logan County High School. Police say he was having “an inappropriate relationship with a student.”

An investigation resulted in the arrest of Benjamin A. Adams, 26, of Bowling Green.

He remains in the Logan County Detention Center, where he faces charges of third-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse.

The investigation is ongoing.
