Locally built website to help bolster Bowling Green workforce
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s been up for about two years now and has yielded results that have surpassed creators’ expectations.
Crowd South, a marketing agency based in Bowling Green, helped to bring to life the vision of Bowling Green and Warren County officials to help aid the local job market.
The website, called Bowling Green Works, is a campaign essentially to not only help employers find employees and vise versa, but also tourism, cost of living and a variety of other Bowling Green information.
News 40 spoke to owner of Crowd South, Jason Heflin, who said he and the company have been very happy with the results. Heflin said since the website has been up, there have been 12,000 applications sent through the website and 3,000 people have found a job.
The station also caught up with Ron Bunch, president of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, who said it’s been a great venture for the Bowling Green community.
