Local Realtor works to find homes for dogs
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Coldwell Banker Legacy Real Estate held a local pet adoption event Saturday, as part of a national adoption event.
Even though the weather was cold, dogs from the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society came clad in blankets to show their cuteness to prospective puppy parents.
And it worked. In just minutes, dogs were becoming the newest members of families attending the adoption event.
Last year’s event helped “several thousand” dogs find forever homes nationally, and Paula Huggins, a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Legacy Real Estate said while the focus of Coldwell Banker as a business is to help people find homes to live in, dogs are “near and dear” to the Realtors hearts so they are happy to help Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society find permanent homes for local dogs that don’t have families.
