Local organization spreading kindness in our community
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A family in our community has one simple goal to spread kindness.
Robin Loid and Emily Wilkins are asking all of us to do three random acts of kindness.
Following the deaths of two of her children, Robin and her daughter started a nonprofit called Cultivate Kindness in their honor.
Their simple mission has been to spread joy in our community while also influencing others to do the same.
Emily Wilkins, a co-founder of Cultivate Kindness, said, “I think we want people to know that our hearts are hurting, but at the end of the day we can still do something good with that hurt in the community”.
In memory of Tommy Loid’s birthday, Cultivate Kindness hosted the T-3 event at Chaney’s Dairy Barn.
The event offered everyone a free scoop of ice cream and other treats.
If you missed this event, they just ask that you continue doing random acts of kindness.
