Local humane societies participating in Empty the Shelters Holiday Hope

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green-Warren County and Logan County humane societies are taking part in BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters Holiday Hope.

From Dec. 1 through Dec. 17, both shelters will offer reduced-fee adoptions.

During this time, potential pet parents can expect to pay $50 or less to take an animal home, BISSELL says. At the Bowling Green location, the shelter says adoptions will be just $25.

The event is part of an effort including at least 380 shelters in over 40 states to increase adoptions.
