Local drug task forces to auction drug-forfeited vehicles in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force and the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force will conduct a public auction of drug-forfeited vehicles this Friday, Nov. 21.
According to a release, this will include vehicles purchased new for drug task force detectives and those forfeited by court order.
Vehicles at auction will include the following, which can be viewed on page two of the document below.
The release says for the past 24 years, broker-auctioneer Joe Houchens of Joe B. Houchens Auctioneers, Inc. in Bowling Green will oversee the sale at no cost to the drug task force with no buyer’s premium charged to purchasers.
“We feel like it’s a way of giving back to the community in support of the Warren County Drug Task Force,” Houchens said. “Tommy Loving and his group and (Warren County Commonwealth’s Attorney) Kori Bumgarner are continually working to suppress drugs and narcotics. We all have children and grandchildren. Anything they do to suppress illegal drugs in our community is well worth anyone’s time or effort.”
The action is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. in front of the Warren County Courthouse located at 429 E. 10th Ave. in Bowling Green.
