Local counties to benefit from agricultural loans

BARREN, HART and WARREN counties, Ky. – The Kentucky Agricultural Corporation has approved nine agricultural loans, totaling $1,236,010 for projects across the Commonwealth today.

Six beginning farmer loans totaling up to $930,010 were approved, and we’re going to see some of that money right here in south-central Kentucky.

Barren County is set to receive $81,250, Hart County will see $71,250 and Warren County will get $250,000.

This grant aims to assist individuals with some farming experience who desire to develop, expand or buy into a farming operation.
