Local coffee shop to provide holiday meals to BRASS shelter residents

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One local coffee shop is making the holidays more special for residents of Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc.

BRASS, Inc., a local nonprofit, helps provide shelter and resources for survivors of domestic violence.

This holiday season, The Flying Pig Coffee Shoppe in Russellville says it is stepping up to provide a home cooked Christmas meal to all 50 residents in the shelter.

However, the coffee shop says it will need volunteers and someone to help with a New Year’s meal.
