Local churches and Habitat for Humanity build homes for tornado survivors

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Help Build Hope, a partnership between Habitat for Humanity, First Christian Church, The Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green, and Christ Episcopal Church, has come together to help build homes.

First Christian Church is hosting a wall-building party to begin building six homes in Bowling Green.

The homes are being built for families who lost theirs in the December tornadoes.

Rodney Goodman, the Habitat for Humanity of Bowling Green/Warren County Executive Director, says they are trying to build houses but also expose families to the great community of Bowling Green.
