Local businesses sell personal protective masks

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Step into any local business nowadays and you might notice personal protective equipment is being sold.

Places where most wouldn’t expect to find masks are now carrying them, even record stores.

Mellow Matt’s Music and More in Bowling Green started carrying masks as soon as retail stores were able to re-open.

Fittingly, the masks from Mellow Matt’s are decked out in music notes and records.

Mallow Matt’s owner Matt Pfefferkorn said about 300 of these masks have been sold.

Pfefferkorn said these masks aren’t just a way to stay safe.

“It’s something that we need to do, but you can have fun with it too. A lot of people are coming in and matching them with their outfits,” Pfefferkorn said.

Steel Mill and Co. and Trees N Trends also carry masks.
