Local business donates $20,000 to Barren County Chamber Foundation
BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Friday afternoon, the Barren County Chamber Foundation received a generous donation from a local business that will provide great support for the Chamber’s Community Leadership Programs.
Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky, also known as CATK, donated $20,000 to the Chamber Foundations programs to help shape the leaders of the future.
The donation will help expand the programs reach and development of the next generation, which has already produced many great leaders in the past.
CATK’s donation will give the students in Barren County a chance for more leadership training opportunities and community service projects, furthering the development of the Barren County youth.
“I think it will at least help the next generation understand the trend of the economy. Also the industrial development, so that they understand how they can help bring the economy to develop further more in this area, in this county,” said Charles Huang, the CEO of CATK.
CATK plans to continue to work with Barren County to bring more developments and changes to the area.
