Local attractions see high visitor turnout for Labor Day weekend
CAVE CITY, Ky.- The Kentucky state tourism office has been pushing for Kentuckians to enjoy their Labor Day Holiday at home in the Bluegrass, which is exactly what people are doing.
Officials from local attractions like Dinosaur World in Cave City said this past weekend has been great for business.
Officials say this year was just as good if not better than Labor Days in years past despite the pandemic. Attractions like Dinosaur World have been seeing good visitor numbers ever since re-opening.
Dinosaur World park director Chris Randall said he was confident that Labor Day numbers would be high, and he was glad to see so many visitors.
A zookeeper from Kentucky Down Under in Horse Cave also this past weekend said the park had great visitor turnout as well.
