Light up the Night raises funding for hospice care

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hospice of Southern Kentucky put on their annual event to raise funding for end of life care. It took place Thursday night at The Charleston in Bowling Green.

Attendees showed up dressed in their best 1920s glam, decked in glitz and feathers.

There was also dinner, music and a special presentation celebrating the work done by Hospice of Southern Kentucky.

The funding raised last night helps support the care provided by the non-profit.

“A lot of times our patients come to us with needs outside of medical. Sometimes that can be that they are hurting for groceries, or they find the challenge in paying their rent or their electric bill. With fundraisers like this we’re able to assist in helping cover that for them,” said Mckinze Willard, Director of Marketing at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
