Light Up BGKY set to ring in holiday season

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It may be October, but many people are already looking forward to the holiday lights season. However, most people aren’t sure where to go.

That’s where Light Up BGKY comes into play. It’s a new website that features an interactive map showcasing all of the different upcoming events and displays throughout the Bowling Green area.

Light Up BGKY Week kicks off on Nov. 27 at Western Kentucky University and features other events at Med Center Health, the Historic RailPark and more.

Downtown BGKY wants to make it easier for you to find holiday cheer.

“Bowling Green is growing, and we know there’s gonna be a lot of demand for new people, new families looking for things to do for the holidays. Since all of these partners were already hosting things in their own way, coming together to tell the same story and cross promote things together makes everything more accessible to everyone,” Telia Butler, downtown development coordinator for Downtown BGKY, says.
