Light Up BGKY kicks off season at Lost River Cave

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The holiday season has officially kicked off in Bowling Green with the beginning of the Light Up BGKY week of events.

The clip above was at Lost River Cave Monday, where the water wheel was lit up.

This is just the first of many events throughout the week, and Lost River Cave is honored to be the first to kick off the season this year.

CEO Justin Jennings says that’s because they’re constantly evolving to make sure that people can celebrate future holidays at the cave.

“Now we’re not just looking back, but we’re focusing on the future. Right now, we’re hard at work restoring and conserving this beautiful 72 acre park located in the heart of Bowling Green. At Lost River Cave, we believe that spending time in nature is not just about recreation, it’s about education and building a lasting connection with nature,” he says.
