LifeWorks at WKU receives millions in funding from state

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An education and experiential learning program for young autistic adults is receiving state support.

On Tuesday, the Commonwealth of Kentucky presented LifeWorks at WKU with $4.4 million in funding.

The funding will support the program’s two-year living and learning Transition Academy.

Funding will also allow for the expansion of services through LifeWorks’ Bridge program for autistic young adults.
