Lexington police confirm officer-involved shooting, road shut down

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Lexington Police Department has confirmed an officer-involved shooting Tuesday evening on Alumni Drive in Lexington.

Police say the shooting occurred on Alumni Drive near Yellowstone Parkway.

At this time, police say Alumni Drive from New Circle Road to Man O War Boulevard is shut down.

Drivers should use an alternate route.
