Leitchfield Utilities issues boil water advisory

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A boil water advisory has been issued for some customers of Leitchfield Utilities.

According to Leitchfield Utilities, the advisory impacts North Heyser Drive from East Main Street to East Chestnut and includes East Chestnut Street, First Baptist Church, along with 115, 117, 203, 207, and 211 North Main Street, as well as 89 and 90 Public Square.

The company advises affected customers to boil their drinking water.

It says water should be boiled for three minutes at a rolling boil before drinking.

Leitchfield Utilities will share a new release when the advisory is lifted here.
