Leitchfield police, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office arrest woman on drug charges

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A Cave City woman is facing multiple charges after a drug bust on Monday night in Grayson County.

According to a uniform citation, Leitchfield police received a call about reckless driving on the parkway in Leitchfield, Kentucky. The caller followed the vehicle, a gray 2014 Scion tC, to the Taco Bell on South Main Street, police say.

Authorities say they made contact with a passenger and the driver of the Scion, identified as Cheryl R. McMillen of Cave City.

Police say based on McMillen’s level of impairment, she was arrested for driving under the influence.

In addition, the citation states a deputy with the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene with a K-9 officer, which gave a positive alert on the vehicle.

Police say during a search, they located a large quantity of methamphetamine and five used meth pipes. McMillen is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance, first offense, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.

McMillen was transported to the Grayson County Detention Center.
