Legislation ensuring pregnant workers get fair treatment, filed in Kentucky
Legislation is being filed in Kentucky to ensure pregnant workers are given fair treatment on the job.
Wednesday morning in Frankfort, a press conference was held to talk about the Kentucky Pregnant Workers’ Rights Act. At the press conference, Secretary of State, Alison Lundergan Grimes, joined to support this legislation.
The Kentucky Pregnant Workers’ Rights Act will make sure no pregnant woman is forced out of work while pregnant, when a reasonable accommodation would keep her both healthy and on the job.
