Legendary loot: thief steals priceless memorabilia

(KPNX) The hunt is on in Scottsdale, Arizona for a baseball thief.

Police say someone broke into the popular sports memorabilia restaurant Don and Charles on Saturday morning, stealing a display case with 33 signed baseballs valued at some $600,000.

Included in the collection: balls signed by big name players like Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, and Willie Mays.

Police suspect the burglar knew the value of the baseballs, since they passed over other memorabilia.
