“Law”lapalooza set to return for 2nd year on April 30th to benefit WKU Mock Trial
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A unique experience is returning to White Squirrel Brewery that combines music and the law. Yes, you read that right.
Lawlapalooza is back for a second year. It’s a concert experience that features local lawyers and their bands.
The proceeds from the concert benefit the WKU Mock Trial team, as they go around to compete at different schools… and it’s all about showing the community that lawyers can have a little fun too.
“Sometimes, it’s kind of hard to break down those barriers when you’re in classrooms or if you’re in court… everybody is… we’re very formal and we’re very proper. I think sometimes in the law we forget that, lawyers can be fun. People in the legal community, they can be relatable. They can be fun,” mock trial coach Kelsey Truxal says.
The event takes place on April 30th, and is set to feature food trucks and a chance to network with the legal community here in Bowling Green.
The event is free for all ages, and will run from 5:30 to 8 that night.
