Law enforcement taking extra steps towards cleanliness during COVID-19 breakout
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Law enforcement is still working hard to protect citizens while taking precautions to protect themselves from illness.
The Bowling Green Police Department is not allowing its officers inside their headquarters, so they can keep a safe distance between themselves.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has suspended fingerprinting for the time being.
The Morgantown Police Department is taking multiple steps to be cleanly.
They’ve set up a special place to disinfect should they come in contact with someone believed to be infected.
And the Butler County Sheriff’s Office has it’s deputies working from their cars to maintain social distancing.
The Bowling Green Fire Department also is taking precautions.
They will not be holding fire safety classes or speaking engagements until further notice.
