Latte art contest as Spencer’s Coffee

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s an annual contest held by Spencer’s that barista’s foam at the mouth over, a shot at some cash and bragging rights.

We’ve all seen the over the top kinds of shapes and figures that top off one of the most poplar caffeinated beverages, well Spencer’s is offering baristas  the chance to show their stuff so the coffee community at their downtown location.

It’s an annual contest that’s been going on since around 2013, which has attracted baristas from all over the country. They had to put a pause on it because of COVID so it’s a bit smaller this year while they warm back up to the idea, but the house was still pretty full.

The event also helps out an organization every year and this year Spencer’s chose the Warren County Public Library, with the money going towards their summer reading program.
