Large brush fire breaks out in Logan County

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A large brush fire has broken out at Sims Bark Co. near Nashville Road in Russellville, according to Russellville Rural Fire Department.

Multiple agencies have responded, including a fire department out of Warren County, Allensville Fire Department out of Todd County, a fire department out of Robertson County and a fire department out of Simpson County.

In addition, Logan County Emergency Management has responded to the incident.

Crew are still working to contain the fire. The situation is ongoing and we will update as details are released.
