Lane closures to take place Wednesday night on I-65 in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Lane closures are expected to begin Wednesday night on I-65 in Warren County.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the lane closures will be in both directions, with one location being just south of Oakland, near mile marker 35. The second location will be just north of Smiths Grove near mile marker 40.

The closures are expected to begin at 7 p.m. and taken down by 6 a.m. Thursday.

The closures are necessary for work related to a resurfacing project that was recently done.

Motorists should use caution in the area and expect slow traffic.
