Lady Tops wrap up day two at The Ally

WEST POINT, Miss. – WKU women’s golf wrapped up the second round of play at The Ally on Tuesday at Old Waverly Golf Club and sits in eighth place with 18 holes remaining. The Lady Tops are at 18-over 594 through 36 holes in a field that includes Florida, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Auburn and Indiana.

NOTABLES
The second round scoring average for the 90-player field was 75.04 and now sits at 75.38 through two rounds.
The Lady Tops have played the Par 4s at a 4.21 average through 36 holes, fifth-best in the field.
Sydney Hackett fired an even-par 72 on Tuesday, thanks to one birdie and one bogey.
Sydney Hackett’s 2.88 scoring average on the Par 3s is tied for fifth-best on the week. Her 29 pars are second-most in the entire field.
Nina McMurtrey had an eagle on the Par-5 ninth hole during the second round, the Lady Tops’ first eagle of the week.
Kaylee Dwyer led the Lady Tops with three birdies on Tuesday.
