Lady Tops Host Lil’ Topper Camp

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The WKU Lady Toppers hosted their annual Lil’ Topper Camp.

The camp was for girls entering kindergarten through fifth grade.

The camp is designed to help introduce the game of basketball to young players and teach techniques like ball handling, shooting, and teamwork.

“It’s super exciting to have a large number of kids come in and you can ask any of our Lady Toppers and their love for basketball college started at camp just like this,” WKU Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach Ivy Woodcock said. “And so giving back to the community and the younger kids that and trying to maybe start their passion for basketball and hopefully getting them in middle school and then coming to our games is awesome as well.”
