Lady Topper basketball lands former Miss Kentucky winner in Trinity Rowe

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU women’s basketball has announced the commitment of Kentucky native Trinity Rowe for the 2025-26 season. Rowe is a rising sophomore transferring from Southern Miss.

Rowe was the Sun Belt Freshman of the Year in 2024-25 and was named Kentucky Miss Basketball in 2024 at the conclusion of her career at Pikeville High School.

The Pikeville, Kentucky native made 31 starts at Southern Miss and led all Sun Belt freshmen in scoring with 221 total points. She averaged 7.1 points per game and dished out 82 assists in her rookie season with the Golden Eagles. She connected on a team-leading 57 3-pointers, shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc.

Rowe left Pikeville High School as the all-time leading scorer at the school, scoring over 2,000 career points while also recording over 1,000 career assists. She’s the only the fifth girls basketball player to record over 1,000 career assists in Kentucky high school basketball history. She led Pikeville to an appearance in the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen her senior season. She was named Region 15 Most Valuable Player twice and District 50 MVP three times.
