KY Rep. Richards awards Warren County school $4,000 check
Longtime Kentucky representative, Jody Richards, is giving back to the local school that bears his name.
During a presentation this morning at Jody Richards Elementary School in Warren County, Representative Richards awarded the school a $4,000 check. The money comes from the representative’s remaining campaign funds.
After decades in the state legislature, the Democrat decided that 2018 would be his last year in Frankfort.
Patti Minter, a Democrat, and Ben Lawson, a Republican, are vying to replace Richards in the house.
