KY: flash flooding sneaks up on residents

(WKYT/CNN) – Flooding causes major issues in parts of Kentucky.

This was the scene Thursday in the town of Brodhead.

You can see floodwaters covering the streets and sidewalks, making it all but impossible for residents to get around.

There are reports of water entering several homes and businesses in Brodhead.

And rescue crews had to save a dog that was stuck in a kennel surrounded by water.

The pooch is said to be okay.
