DRY RIDGE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is asking for help to locate a missing 11-year-old girl.

According to authorities, KSP Post 6 received a report on Monday, Nov. 3 at about 5:45 p.m. from Lenora Thornsberry that her 11-year-old daughter, Addelyn Thornsberry, was missing.

Troopers say the child’s mother stated her daughter had a cell phone with a Life360 tracking application, however, she was unable to locate her using the app.

Authorities say Addelyn Thornsberry was last wearing a pink shirt, blue pants and white tennis shoes.

Troopers say they responded to the home and spoke with family members. The Kentucky State Police says it coordinated with Robertson County Emergency Management to begin a search of the surrounding area.

Due to darkness and cold weather conditions, KSP aircraft were requested to assist with aerial search efforts.

Around 8:30 p.m., authorities say the family located a video posted that afternoon by Addelyn that indicated her intent to run away.

KSP says it has a copy of the video and continued search operations despite this information.

Throughout the night, KSP says it received several tips from the public, which have been investigated. However, authorities say Addelyn Thornsberry remains missing.

She has been entered as a missing person in the National Crime Information Center database.

Sgt. Satterly has assumed responsibility for the ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Addelyn Thornsberry is urged to contact KSP Post 6 at (859) 428-1212 or their local law enforcement agency.
