KSP responds to fatal weekend crash in Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police has released information on a deadly weekend crash in Allen County.

Troopers say they received a call from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday shortly before 8:30 a.m. for fatal collision at the intersection of U.S. 231 and East Old State Road.

According to troopers, a 2019 Lincoln MKC driven by Jeanette Carver of Scottsville was eastbound on East Old State Road when a 2017 Ford F-150 driven by Brian Copas of Scottsville was traveling south on U.S. 231.

The F-150 then struck Carver’s vehicle, according to KSP.

Carver was pronounced decd at the scene. Passengers from both vehicles were transported to Vanderbilt University Hospital and Tri-Star Skyline in Nashville.

The investigation is ongoing.
