KSP Post 3 searching for prisoner who escaped from work release

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kentucky State Police Post 3 is searching for a wanted man.

Police are asking for information regarding the whereabouts of Abdullah Qasem, who is wanted for Escape 2nd degree.

According to a report by K105, Qasem fled from the Hart County Animal Shelter on January 28, 2023 while on work release.

Qasem was incarcerated for trafficking in a controlled substance, promoting contraband and tampering with physical evidence.

Qasem is 6’2 with brown eyes and black hair.

The Kentucky State Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Qasem to call Post 3 in Bowling Green at 270-782-2010.
