KSP officer goes viral after changing woman’s flat tire
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Kentucky State Police officer has gone viral on social media after changing a woman’s flat tire in Barren County.
Officer Parker was looking for a traffic hazard near the area the woman, Rita Smith Rhinehart, was stranded in.
He saw her car on the side of the road on I-65, turned on his lights, and pulled in behind her.
Rhinehart told him she was fine, and that she had called AAA for assistance. Officer Parker knows that AAA usually takes a while, so he changed her tire right there himself.
“She was so nice and she was so thankful. And just wanted to give me a hug so she gave me a hug. I think at one point she even told me she loved me, made me feel good,” said Parker
Rhinehart’s post has over 1,000 shares on Facebook.
