KSP investigating fatal Pulaski County crash

SCIENCE HILL, Ky. – Kentucky State Police, London Post is investigating a fatal collision.

KSP says it responded to US 27 and East Frog Hollow Road in Pulaski County early Sunday morning to a two-vehicle collision.

KSP’s initial investigation indicates Kayleigh J. Dismuke, 19 of Eubank, was operating a Jeep Wrangle northbound on US 27 when her vehicle collided with a moped, also traveling northbound, in the rear.

The operator of the moped, Dino R. Collins, 31 of Cincinnati, Ohio, was ejected from the moped.

Collins was transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for treatment. Collins sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased by the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office.

KSP says alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the collision.

Dismuke was arrested at the scene. Dismuke is charged with vehicular homicide when under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle under the influence 1st, failure to wear a seat belt, and possession of an open alcohol beverage in a motor vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing.
