KSP charges Pikeville man with child sexual exploitation offenses

PIKEVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch located and arrested a man on charges related to a child sexual abuse material investigation.

According to a release by KSP, David. J. Caudill, 41, of Pikeville was located and interviewed on April 2 and arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect distributing sexually explicit images online.

Caudill was charged with 11 counts of possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance, a class-C felony punishable by five to ten years in prison.

Caudill was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
