Monroe County man charged with child sexual exploitation after undercover investigation

TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A Monroe County man is charged with child sexual exploitation offenses.
Kentucky State Police says an undercover internet investigation of Robert Allen Tabor, 37, resulted in his arrest on Tuesday afternoon.
The KSP Electronic Crime Branch says Tabor shared images of child sexual exploitation online.
Police seized the equipment believed to be used by Tabor to commit the crimes. The equipment was taken to the KSP forensics laboratory for examination.
Tabor is currently charged with eight counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under twelve years.
Tabor was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
The investigation remains ongoing.
