Kroger shooting suspect appears in court

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The man accused of killing two black people at a suburban Louisville grocery store appeared in court Tuesday.

Gregory Bush’s first pre-trial conference was in state court in Jefferson County.

Bush is facing two counts of murder and 10 counts of wanton endangerment, following the October 24th shooting that left Maurice Stallard and Vickie Lee Jones dead.

In federal court earlier this month, Bush’s attorney entered a not-guilty plea to three hate crime charges and three gun charges.

If convicted, Bush could face life in prison or the death penalty.
