Knox County parents face child abuse charges
A Knox County man and woman are facing child abuse charges, after their 4 year old son was allegedly locked in his room.
Nickalas Jorgensen and Natasha McBee were arrested august 17th. Police went to their house to locate a child, that had been allegedly locked in a room. The arrest report says the parents of the boy say, they would lock him in his room for 15 – 20 minutes to punish him, but when police talked to the child he says it was much longer.
The arrest report also states that, the child’s room had a lock on it from the outside, and his window was boarded with wood. He told police he would yell, and scream for his parents to let him out. The report also says police found feces on the floor and walls of the room, and holes in the room where the child would try to get out.
Both Jorgensen and McBee are facing multiple charges, including child abuse and unlawful imprisonment.
