KHSAA Meetings to Provide Update on Fall Sports
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – We will know a lot more about the future of fall sports in the state of Kentucky as soon as the end of this week.
The KHSAA has scheduled a Board of Control meeting for this Friday, July 10 that is expected to not only give an update on the status of fall sports, but also detail what guidelines will be in place going forward.
The Commonwealth is currently in Phase 3 of its summer restart plan, which allows athletic teams to hold practices of up to 50 people, but restricts players and coaches from any sort of contact drills.
KHSAA Commissioner Julian Tackett is expected to give a broad update on restarting school athletics during Tuesday morning’s meeting of the Interim Joint Committee on Education.
