Kentucky woman expecting medical supplies receives body parts in mail

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (WSMV) – One Kentucky woman made a startling discovery days before Halloween.
A package delivered to a Kentucky woman’s home contained body parts inside instead of the medical supplies she was expecting.
At first, the coroner’s office got the call around 8 p.m. Wednesday and wasn’t sure if the sheriff was serious.
Christian County coroner Scott Daniel says, “I would think anybody this time of year would have said that’d be a hoax, but it wasn’t.”
Daniel then went to Pleasant View to pick up the two arms and four fingers that arrived on a woman’s doorstep.
He says she was expecting a delivery from the courier service, but it was supposed to contain medical supplies, not limbs on ice.
Daniel says, “She takes the box inside, opens it just like anybody else would. In the box are two arms and four fingers. Human cadaver parts.”
Another Christian County resident, Kamela Stewart, says if it happened to her, she wouldn’t “even have words” and would “scream and run away.”
Daniel says this was not a typical mail service like USPS or FedEx – it was a private courier.
The body parts were actually supposed to be going to a medical training facility. He says it was a series of mishaps that led them here.
The body parts have now been delivered to the correct location and that the woman got her medical supplies.
