Kentucky troopers taking part in multi-state project aimed at distracted driving
FRANKFORT, Ky. – A multi-state trooper project is underway right now focused on reducing distracted driving.
The Kentucky State Police says it is participating in the six-state trooper project from April 7 to April 14.
During this time, KSP is teaming up with state police from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia to prevent distracted driving crashes.
Troopers say a few seconds of inattention can lead to tragedy.
They ask that all drivers stay focused and stay safe.
